GRADUATE OR TRAINEE SURVEYOR – COMMERCIAL AGENCY

Sibbett Gregory is an established surveying practice based in Poole dealing with commercial property agency, building surveying, town planning and a range of professional surveying work. We require a graduate or trainee surveyor to join our busy Agency Team. The successful applicant will be expected to take a front line role in the department, with excellent prospects for advancement. Sibbett Gregory has an outstanding track record of supporting graduates through their APC (100% pass rate). Relevant experience and structured training can be provided across the firm’s departments.

The Role

The successful candidate will assist with a wide ranging instruction base working across a variety of property sectors, with a range of local, national and institutional clients.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Advising on sales, lettings and acquisitions.
• Undertaking research, analysing data and presenting findings and recommendations
• Undertaking property inspections and viewings.
• Appraising property assets, devising and executing marketing strategies.
• Negotiating and managing transactions.
• Maintaining and enhancing both existing and new client relationships through regular communication, meetings & pitches.
• Working collaboratively with Sibbett Gregory’s multidisciplinary teams to maximise our clients’ assets.
• Maintaining the firm’s professional and ethical standards.

Qualifications, Skills, Experience

The Candidate should ideally have an RICS accredited degree and be keen to progress with their APC to achieve MRICS status.

We will also consider non-cognate graduates (without an RICS accredited degree) where additional support is available to obtain either AssocRICS status or to achieve an RICS accredited Masters Degree via the Chartered Surveyor Degree Apprentice scheme.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and personable, with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Experience of working within in a commercial agency environment would be a particular advantage but is not vital.
