Following the previous lease expiry of a 17,000 sq ft town centre office building, Sibbett Gregory advised on a financial settlement for dilapidations.

 

  • Sibbett Gregory subsequently negotiated an overriding lease of the whole building to a substantial tenant who previously held a sub-lease of part of the building.

 

  • As part of the new letting, Sibbett Gregory negotiated a landlord’s contribution with obligations on the tenant to carry out improvements.

 

  • Following completion of the new lease, Sibbett Gregory acted to sell the investment.
