Sibbett Gregory were retained by Store & Secure Limited to identify and acquire new self-storage facilities throughout the south of the United Kingdom.
- Following an extensive search, a 30,000 sq ft industrial building was identified at Houndsmill Estate in Basingstoke. The Agency department subsequently negotiated favourable terms for a new lease on the property on behalf of our client.
- Following agreement of terms, Sibbett Gregory’s Town Planning department secured planning consent for a change of use from builders merchant (sui generis) to Class B1 & B8 (office & storage/distribution) as well as achieving consent for the proposed signage scheme.
- The Building Consultancy department provided pre-acquisition advice and assisted in obtaining landlords consent for tenant alterations and monitoring of works undertaken.
