Units 9 & 10 Alpha Centre, Upton Road, Poole

Sibbett Gregory advised on the refurbishment and subsequent letting of two adjoining units in Poole Town Centre.

  • The Alpha Centre consisted of two vacant 1970’s era industrial units totalling 10,925 sq ft.

 

  • The units were fully refurbished by the landlord and upgraded to a modern specification and latest ESG standard. Sibbett Gregory’s Building Consultancy Department advised on the refurbishment which included replacement roofs & insulation, replacement windows, photovoltaic panels as well as upgrades such as EV charging points and LED lighting. The EPC rating was improved from a D to A rating, safeguarding the buildings with regards to future Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES).

 

  • Following completion of the refurbishment works these units were highly marketable with a superb modern specification. Sibbett Gregory’s Agency Team were able to secure a 10 year FRI lease on both units with Norrsken, a fantastic local business specialising in high performance triple glazed windows.
