New Seafood Restaurant To Open On Poole Quay
Restaurant group, Rockfish, are to open a new seafood restaurant on Poole Quay in November.
Sibbett Gregory acted on behalf of the former Purbeck Pottery to sell the property to Rockfish earlier in the year. The deal was negotiated and concluded off market due to trading sensitivities for the previous occupier. The building occupies a highly prominent position on Poole Quay, extending to approximately 4,000 sq ft.
The restaurant group, founded and run by acclaimed seafood chef Mitch Tonks, will be trading in 8 locations by the time the Poole restaurant opens. All of the existing restaurants are located throughout the South West, positioned by the sea or waterside. The brand seeks to provide an unpretentious environment specialising in serving fresh, local and sustainable seafood.
Rockfish will add to the already strong restaurant offer on Poole Quay and the old town.
