Malcolm joined the firm in 2006 as Director of Town Planning and is both a Chartered Surveyor and Chartered Town Planner. He started career in Local Government, spending 3 years at Basildon New Town Development Corporation. In 1979 he moved over to private sector as a Town Planning consultant.

Malcolm has wide experience in all aspects of Town and Country Planning, including development plan preparation. Research and development management and enforcement. Malcolm has submitted and negotiated many planning applications and appeals appearing as expert witness in public inquiries in Dorset and elsewhere, as far away as Barrow-in-Furness

Malcolm’s main activity outside of the office is now dog walking. He is a Fan Member of British Cycling with a particular interest in Track Cycling. He previously played club rugby and competed in ballroom/Latin American dancing including on the original “Come Dancing” back in the late 60s. Collects early Scalextric cars.
